The death of a family member or friend is a time of sadness yet is a time God desires to pour out His grace.  The Rite of Christian Burial is a gift from God for those Catholics who desire it.  This ritual is a beautiful way to give thanks to God for the gift of our loved ones while at the same time praying for the repose of his or her soul.  Particularly in the Funeral Mass we offer ourselves with the Lord's Sacrifice as we commend the soul of the deceased to the Lord's Mercy.
 

After a loved one's death pelase contact the Funeral Home.  Tell them you desire to celebrate the Rite of Christian Burial here at St. Paul's.  They will contact our staff to make arrangements.  There can be specific questions or circumstances about how the Rites are celebrated especially regarding music.  If you have concerns that the funeral home cannot answer please call the rectory.
