Encouraging the Culture of Encounter with Jesus Christ, His Church, and All People Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Thank you for your Participation Thank you again to all who participated in the discernment sessions, and have completed the survey distributed last week. My staff and I are reviewing them presently and I will announce a proposed solution and a timeline the weekend of October 15. Keep in mind the phrase, “Blessed are the flexible, for they will not be bent out of shape.” This is a unique time, but also a time of pastoral creativity as we journey together. I appreciate everyone’s input and ask for your continued patience and understanding.
Encouraging the Culture of Encounter with Jesus Christ, His Church, and All People Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Thank you for your Participation Thank you to all who participated in our discernment sessions last week. Your prayer, comments, and suggestions are very helpful in how we will adjust to a new weekend schedule in the near future. At the time of this writing, the discernment sessions are still being concluded. I hope to have a survey available this weekend (if not this, then next weekend) with some concrete options for what a new Mass schedule will look like along with suggestions for “extracurriculars” like faith formation and adoration. Please take time to think and pray over it. Your input is very important as we take the next steps.

Note we do not decide “our” way or blindly fall forward by guessing. We seek to discern God’s will for our parish community.
