Encouraging the Culture of Encounter with Jesus Christ,
His Church, and All People
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Old Chapel Door Panels
Since the old chapel doors have been replaced a generous parishioner has been restoring the old ones. We can no longer use them as functional doors, so I propose the following:
This is what I propose. Please share with me your thoughts through emailing the parish. Also, our Fatih Formation session on February 16 will include a time for anyone to share their thoughts on this proposal. Having heard from parishioners on this change we can then proceed with the proposal or discern another option.
Faith Formation Next Sunday February 16 @ 9:15-10:15 in the PAC
As stated above, we will give time to discussing the proposal to change up our interior decor a bit. It may be that discussion is very short so with the time we have left we will start our review of Bishop Malesic’s first Pastoral Letter to the Diocese. Check out the Diocesan website to link you to the letter or this is the specific page:

This Sunday we will watch his introductory video and begin an overview. In the next couple months, we will delve deeper into the letter and discuss implementing his vision in our parish.
Catholic Charities Appeal
Next weekend will be the annual Diocesan Catholic Charities Appeal at all the Masses. We will hear the Bishop’s message and his appeal. Please discern how you can show your generosity to those in need.

Lent is Coming!
Ash Wednesday is March 5. We just finished a wonderful run of feasts: Christmas, Epiphany, St. Paul, and the Presentation. So now we look forward to the times of penance. This wonderful spiritual rhythm helps us grow with God’s grace to new heights and greater charity. But we must use the time well. Start thinking and praying now to discern your Lenten discipline. Perhaps the charity appeal or our parish needs can be a part upcoming almsgiving. Also, there will be more times for confession every week of Lent. In addition to our regular parish times on Friday and Saturday there will be:
Tuesday March 11 @ 5-6 @ St. Paul
Wednesday March 19 @ 5-8 @ St. Paul (Diocesan Night of Confessions)
Tuesday March 25 @ 5-6 @ St. Paul
Tuesday April 1 @ 5-6 @ St. Paul (Cluster Confession Night)
Tuesday April 8 @ 5-6 @ St. Francis de Sales (Cluster Confession Night)
Sincerely in Christ and Happy Feast Day!
Fr. Pfr
