What about the scheduled Mass intentions?
I will still be offering the regularly scheduled mass intentions, but by celebrating a "private" Mass. This still fulfills the intention.
What about funerals?
As of right now, we will still offer the funeral rites of the church and fulfill the corporal work of mercy of burying the dead. However, only immediate family will be able to attend.
What if I am in danger of death and need the Anointing of the Sick?
If you are in the hospital, there is still a Catholic Chaplain on duty. Inform the pastoral care office at the hospital of your need. If you are at home or hospice, call the rectory and Fr. Pfeiffer will make a visit. If truly an emergency, call the rectory and leave the message on the emergency line.
What about baptizing a baby?
Even during this time, DO NOT DELAY BAPTISM! It may mean only a couple of people can attend, but the grace bestowed is more important than having lots of people there. Call the rectory and we can work with you to schedule a baptism.
What about my offertory envelopes?
Yes, we still need your generous donations. Although some of the utilities are slightly less (but not much less) during this time, we are still keeping the office open as well as the church for specified hours. There is still payroll and certain bills to pay, so we still need a minimum cash flow. I know this is a difficult time economically, but please do your best to keep us in mind. You can also drop them off in the church during the open hours. Drop them at the rectory during regular business hours or mail them in. Also you can click here to set up electronic giving (just print the form and send it in)
